Module: Vascular Compromise and Emergency Management

This module offers an in-depth exploration of vascular compromise, focusing on its identification and the implementation of effective emergency management protocols. Participants will engage with interactive and comprehensive materials designed to enhance their understanding and preparedness for real-world clinical scenarios.

 

In-Person Training:

 

Hands-On Training Session:
This session is dedicated to equipping participants with the skills necessary to assess, plan, and treat patients requiring filler dissolution. The training encompasses:

 

• Assessment Techniques: Develop proficiency in evaluating patients for potential filler complications.
• Treatment Planning: Learn to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs and clinical indications.
• Practical Experience: Conduct 1 or 2 filler dissolving procedures on patients within a controlled clinical training environment, guided by experienced educators.

 

This comprehensive training program is meticulously designed to ensure participants acquire the essential knowledge and practical skills required to effectively and safely manage non-emergency filler-related concerns in a clinical setting.

 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

• Understand the indications for dissolving filler in aesthetic procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in assessing patient suitability and conducting a thorough consultation for filler dissolution.
• Discuss the pharmacology and mechanism of action of commonly used filler-dissolving agents (e.g. hyaluronidase).
• Identify different types of dermal fillers and their characteristics relevant to dissolving.
• Learn how to reconstitute Hyaluronidase for non-emergency dissolving.
• Practice safe administration techniques for filler-dissolving agents, including proper dilution, injection depth, and anatomical considerations.
• Discuss managing potential complications and adverse reactions associated with dissolving.
• Review aftercare guidelines and patient education strategies following filler dissolving.
• Evaluate and document treatment outcomes, including patient satisfaction and follow-up requirements.

Online Training access to the Vascular Compromise and Emergency Management Module

The fine print:

• To book a Filler Dissolving Training Session, you must be registered with AHPRA as an RN.
• 1-year minimum clinical experience as a nurse is required for this course.
• We require you to source your models and strongly encourage you to ask your friends and family members to be your models. Our training team will be able to assist you if you are experiencing trouble sourcing your models.
• Each model has a fee of $150 per dissolving treatment. (including GST).
• Online Vascular Compromise and Emergency Management course must be completed, and the certificate must be submitted before your in-person practical training day.
• All products are provided during your session. You only need to bring yourself and enclosed footwear.
